Greetings O’Sciots
This is my last message as Toparch for Pyramid #5. I have tried to do different things as far as meetings this year like going to Stockton Thunder or Stockton Ports games. It is my understanding that the Toparch-elect is considering of continuing the attending of the Stockton Thunder game. It turns out that it was his first ice hockey game and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. I would have liked to have seen a growth in membership but at least we gained the new members as the numbers of members that we lost.
Our next meeting will be the installation of officers on October 5th, 2007 at Willard Hall. We will be having our social and installation practice from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Installation will start at 7:00pm until??, dinner will be starting from 8:00 p.m. approximately to ?? and after dinner there will be a business meeting.
It would be really nice to see some fresh faces or even some old faces again at the meeting. I have tried to do some things different this year like going to the Stockton Thunder ice hockey game or the Stockton Ports baseball game. I think that the members that attended these functions enjoyed themselves. If any member has any ideas for next Sciot year contact Toparch-elect Steve Fowler or me and I will pass it on to Steve.
