O’ Sciots, with this being my first article for the Trumpeter, I would like to say thank you to all whom attended the installation. I would like to give a “special thanks” to my wonderful wife, Christina, for helping me through out the planning of this special event. Ken Edwards (P.T.) also deserves a special “thank you” for his guidance in the planning of our installation.

To all of those who couldn’t make it...we missed seeing you. We had some great laughs and good fellowship over a great meal of “home smoked” trip-tip. Hope to see you next time!

I hope that I will serve you and fulfill my duties as well as all the other great Toparchs before me.

We kept this first meeting as short as we could. Let us thank O’ Sciot Bryan Frymire for accepting the position as a 3 year Trustee.

Five Oaks Board

We will be voting on the Five Oaks Board at our next meeting, November 7th. You can come to the meeting to vote in person or mail a proxy to our Scribe O’ Sciot Dennis Merrit P.T. before the meeting. There is no need to mail a proxy if you will be at the meeting. In addition to the 7 nominated names listed on the proxy there will be two or three lines for write in candidates.

Supreme Sessions

We are looking for delegates to attend the 93 Annual Supreme Sessions: November 13th—16th. The sessions will be held in San Diego, Ca. If you are planning to go to Supreme Sessions and would like more information on it, visit the supreme website at:

November is our “men only” night. This will be a fun evening of cards, dice, pizza and brotherly fellowship. Also, I would like to take the opportunity to have a meeting in Willard Hall, rather than the Quonset hut. This would be a good time to invite a buddy to come hang out with us.
