The year 2003 installation of Officers has come and gone. Several of you (about
half) were not present to be properly and ceremoniously installed but, guess
what!! You still got the job.
I would like to encourage everyone at this time to support our Pharaoh-elect
at the supreme sessions on November 7, 8 & 9th. to be held at the Holiday
Inn on March Lane. Please make your reservations now and be there. It is going
to be a great time for us all.
We will not have a Pyramid Meeting in November but the Ladies are cooking
Christmas goodies for the December meeting….Be sure to read the ladies note
in this Trumpeter. See you all at both occasions.

To the ladies…..We have saved our nominations and installation for our December meeting. Our nomination committee is out there making calls to make sure that we have a slate of officers to vote on and to install….I have asked Mary Ellen Dunbar to do the installation and she has accepted.
This is also going to be a time for us to celebrate the Christmas Holiday as a group so Jim and I will provide the Turkey and dressing and the dessert and we would like to ask each of you to bring a side dish…..Vegetable, salad, relish tray, etc., etc. The idea being to bring your favorite Christmas dish. Be sure to bring enough to serve at least 10 people.
I would also like to ask you to help me with a small fundraiser that night. If each of you would bring an appropriate centerpiece for the table we would have festive tables for our dinner and after dinner we could auction them off to the men to raise some funds if they are needed for the Annual Supreme Sessions. Please, in making these decorations keep your expenditures to $10 or less.
That brings us to ask you to please support your husbands by attending the meetings and events that are planned just for you at the Annual Supreme Sessions. The committees are working to plan these events and we need to know that our work has not been for nothing. We need your reservations NOW for the ladies luncheon and what ever else you will be attending with your mate.
